I might be on a bit of a Star Wars: Rebels kick right now. It was kind of exciting, Monday night, seeing the characters at Yavin IV and all that. Even when we already got that last year from Rogue One, it still hits you harder than you expected. Also, some of the promotional material I've seen for next week since. Most notably, of course, this. Of course, for most of the time I've been watching this show, I've been assuming Kanan and Hera were just quietly involved behind closed doors. I suppose this clip keeps that theory perfectly plausible, but who knows what they'll finally say about it in the full episode. It would be quite sad if it was declared they're getting together only now, and then he goes and gets killed.
Two chapters into The Book of Dust, and it's been a thrill to be back in that universe too. I've even pulled out my copy of Golden Compass, and I suspect I'm going to do a lot of rereading.
We got few enough new books into the library this week I was starting to think the end of this year's deluge of them is in sight. Except we just got details straightened out with one of our vendors which means they're now going to send us a few orders they were holding back, so...What Happened came in yesterday. Of course we had to get it, and it's good to have it, but even checking it in as arrived felt painful. I was relieved I was justified in giving that batch to our technician to catalog.
