It feels like the world's falling apart. Whenever I've looked at the news, for so long now I can no longer remember when it started feeling like this, it's felt like that. And last night it felt even more so. Arguably, this was even more terrifying than 9/11, because things like opening fire in restaurants makes it feel like if you're in the city under the terrorist attack, you aren't safe *anywhere* in it. And even if you're not in that particular city, well, what if your own is next? I have to go back into work on Monday, and I work in the bloody *Pentagon.* Granted, it's harder to attack anyone in there unless you're an employee or can otherwise get in, but, well, it happened in the Navy Yard.
Except, of course, that horrible tragedies which kill people are already happening bloody everywhere; Paris is merely the location the west will obsess over. There's also Beirut, and Kenya, and Japan, and Mexico. And now today there's South Korea too; turns out it's not just the U.S. where if the terrorists aren't murdering people, the police are doing it instead. You can't even blame them all on ISIS(and I'm still hesitant about just taking their word for it that they did it until we get some real evidence of that). It's all of humanity, getting each other killed, and at this point to we just have to hope it has an outcome other than the whole lot of us dead?
