Took the silver line for the first time last Sunday, and took some photos as well, including three I deemed worthy of uploading to DeviantArt. Uploaded them a couple of hours ago and two of them got someone favoriting them, which is nice.
As well as exploring the new line and being at Tyson's Corner on my own for the first time, one thing I really had to do Sunday was get new shoes for work; the ones I had were on their last legs, with one even having a hole in the back! That they were in such a dire state is probably the only reason I actually managed to get shoes, instead of giving up after looking in multiple stores where is seemed most shoes that would work were too expensive, and the exceptions didn't come in my size. At one point after checking out three shoe sections in one department store I wondered even if the price of shoes was determined by how high a floor they were on; at that place the prices rose as I took the escalator up. Then when I was at the last of the stores I could spot I found a good pair of shoes my size on the clearance rack! So now all I have to worry about are my sneakers which aren't in much better shape, my stockings and underwear all having holes in it, my outerwear also on the decline, and I can't remember what else. Do women take to loving clothes shopping because they feel the need to constantly do it anyway, so decide they might as well see the enjoyment in it?
Also bought Mockingjay, and have since read the first two chapters. Even though I know most of the important things, it's still pretty grabbing.
