Third date today was lunch in an Italian place, except even though it was past noon they were still only serving brunch, so we both had breakfast foods. It was a noisy place on 8th Street, though it turned more cosy when it got less crowded, one of many restaurants crowding a small amount of blocks between the metro station and the nearby marine barracks. They were showing the World Cup on the TVs, though neither of us had the best view.
I haven't really been watching the soccer, though. A period of time having lunch here, half an hour on the treadmill there, but for the most part it's actually been more fun following people's tweets on it. Especially Slava Malamud's; he's being absolutely evil but it's still funny.
