missizzyThe woes in our house continue. Last evening mom fell asleep at the wheel and hit a bus. The police were relatively nice to her, even only giving her a hundred dollar fine when they could've easily hit her with five hundred, but now we have no car, even when we get the rental one her driving may face legal restrictions, and in any case she right now does not care to drive any more than she absolutely has to. It may even keep her from going to the doctor even though the accident left her with some pain in her chest.
At least I did have it settled Friday that I would be employed for at least next year, which was something I could not be certain of before then. Still, I will be obliged to leave me current agency, where I know I'm useful and valued and accepted, go work for another one I still don't know much about, and then possibly desert them for the first in three month's time. Everything's been different since I've got the news; my mind no longer operates as it did before then.
