Currently taking antibiotics for an inflamed hair follicle, an infection that happened from shaving. Really, I hate shaving, and I especially hate that our society requires women to do it. Now the temperature's dropped and wearing sleeves irritates the affected area; I am making do with a loose sweater, but still feeling chilly sometimes. The worst part is I felt dismayed at being unable to shave the affected area at the usual time; much as I hate society's standards about female body hair I've still internalized them. Had tests on my liver, as well, due to very mild nausea; the results appear to be normal. It might be my painkillers, without which I would be in a much worse state.
Watched Dancing With the Stars last night, sad that Bill Nye proved the guy who can't dance and probably won't last very long. Looking forward to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. next week, meanwhile.
