Now my sister's fiance has cancer too

He was rushed to the emergency room last night for what everyone initially thought was his appendix, but it turned out he had colon cancer, and very, very far developed. He had a pain in his back for two years without realizing it wasn't his back that was the problem. They spent the night removing most of his colon and part of his intestines before they thought to mention that he had cancer to my sister. He himself doesn't even know yet; he's been on a breathing tube and not really responding to the world right now. Even if he somehow survives this, it's going to be months of chemo, and while my dad slowly creeps back towards normal(before he has to go in for chemo...) my would-be brother-in-law may never be normal again. The wedding was scheduled for a little more than three weeks from now, but now they may be lucky if he can be married in a wheelchair.
His father has been fighting cancer too recently. It just doesn't stop.
