We continue to get things accomplished one at a time. Mom and I split the bill in paying off my sister's debts. This morning I took the measurements of the current stove, and this afternoon we ended up going to Loews. Most of the stoves there are going to stick out a little from the counters, since the shortest ones were still a couple inches longer than them, but we got one that should be functional and they're coming to install it tomorrow. We still haven't dealt with the Fios thing, though, which means it's not getting dealt with until after I return from New York.
The Chief Librarian also got confirmation this week that since our funding for next fiscal year has been gotten as usual from the agencies we served, even if the government does shut down next week, the library will remain open. Under the circumstances, I suppose I have to remain glad for that.
