missizzyChange of plans: dad is now getting his operation first. Scheduled for June 3. This is supposed to go along with a better prognosis, but the operation is a somewhat dangerous phase...
Found out today that Quizilla's still around. Sort of. Though in at least one of its old quizzes all the website tampering that's no doubt happened over the years has resulted in the longer answers getting cut off. Retaking it, though, I've discovered that sometime within the last nine years I've turned from Stephen Maturin into Preserved Killick!
I also got an email from Flickr today announcing exciting new changes or something like that. I'd forgotten I had an account with them; back in library school we were required to make one and tag the photos in it as an exercise for Cataloging class; it was the new hip website back then. Tags were really coming into vogue back then too. They didn't go out of style, at least, so the lesson remains useful to this day.
