missizzyWe are now down to one car for the first time since I can remember. Dad can't manage his old used Jaguar anymore, and mom never good, so we gave it away to PBS, who will auction it off for funds. I don't know how much money they'll get because it wasn't in good shape, but hopefully some. The people they contracted to actually get it had some trouble finding us, though; they were supposed to come on Monday, but ended up coming yesterday instead. Now our only car is my mom's new Prius. Silver-grey, like every other car in existence right now, it seems. Really, it's starting to get inconvenient, especially when we're not used to the car enough to quickly spot it in crowded parking lots.
He's pretty much finished up the cancer tests, and will be starting chemotherapy to shrink the cancer before surgery starting next week. But before that, it's his turn to get an MRI, for sciatica related reasons. Bad enough to have cancer, but that's not even his only difficulty at the moment...
