We got kittens!

After mom and I had a cat adoption service unofficially discriminate against us, my sister went directly to a woman actually fostering kittens; they're more likely to understand that their cats need to go to good homes, and that ours is certainly good enough. Yesterday, two of her kittens, which we have named Fiona and Elinor, came home to us. The day after being spayed, so it's been a bit of a stressful week for them. They've spent much of their time here so far hiding under my bed. At least we got them to eat last night; we were a little worried about that. Right now, at least, Elinor has ventured out and up to the cat tree by my bed, where she's occupied with chasing her tail. Unfortunately, so far they seem to flee whenever someone tries to get near them. Ian and Clarissa were a little shy, too, at first.
