Off to San Diego tomorrow!

missizzyI'm mostly packed, the boarding pass is downloaded onto my phone, and I've even booked the taxi to the airport. (Later than recommended, actually, but not by too much.) I'm still figuring out my schedule after that, but as well as the day at the Con, my sister's been invited to two parties, and is taking me as her +1. It's actually going to be a much less busy SDCC for her, with a number of the panels she would be covering cancelled. Of course I support the writers' and actors' right and really their need to strike, and let my first San Diego Comic Con be whatever it will be. I very much intend to enjoy it.
I also spent the past three days doing recordings of my latest song. I actually got five of them, but as soon as I finished this last one, my mother rushed in to declare it perfect and tell me to post it. I definitely wouldn't go that far, but it is pretty much the best of the five.
