Years ago, when I noticed when I pressed my nose to book pages I couldn't make out the words, I wondered if I might be slightly farsighted. Today, when a year and a half of constant headaches finally drove me to the doctor's office and eventually my first ever eye exam, I've learned I was right. It was a bit of a crazy day, since I also got bloodwork done for an MRI that will also been done to investigate the full cause of the headaches, which meant I fasted for most of the day, and I think I'm still feeling a bit of a hunger knock. My vision was blurry for a bit too but that's now worn off. I've also ordered glasses online, after initially clicking the order button, running into an internal server error, calling the helpline, spending way too long on hold before giving up, then clicking the button again hoping I wasn't ordering a second pair, and this time it worked. Hopefully they'll help.
Saw the news about Jason Collins in the waiting room. Happy to see that, but less so to see the rest of what was on CNN.
Helping my mother cook dinner tonight because dad is having health problems. Then will watching Dancing With the Stars while flipping to the NHL Draft Lottery during the commercial breaks.
