missizzyWe took down the tree today, which declares the holiday season officially over. The first week of 2023 didn't feel all that different from 2022. It was in the 60s at the beginning of the week, and I went out to enjoy the weather and get The Mighty Nein: Origins: Fjord, which was a very painful read in the first half especially, at least for those of us who were bullied as children. It's dropped back down since. My sinuses have been very unhappy about all of this, to the point that at one point I seriously considered teleworking Wednesday and Thursday, just in case. The head of the library has a husband with with Covid right now, though she and their kids have apparently tested negative so far.
We've had postponements for our Call of the Netherdeep group as well, including for this coming week. Playing Schist again with all the lore I've been hearing lately may get interesting, though it may simply be a matter of keeping my mouth shut, since I'll *probably* be the only one of the group who knows anything besides whatever the book tells the DM.
