missizzyMom fell on the stoop and hurt her wrist yesterday. It's meant she's struggled to do things as simple as getting ice cubes out of a tray (and when she needs them for said wrist!), but honestly, it feels like it could have been a lot worse. Her own mother was only about a decade and a half older when a fall she suffered proved much, much worse.
I myself have suffered the return of my headaches this weekend, though I'm pretty sure I'm through the worst of it. I went looking around for potential Christmas gifts yesterday, found nothing, and today asked my mother what she wanted, and now next weekend we'll be going to buy her a new lamp, since she needs one. That just leaves my sister to worry about.
Yesterday may have been very stressful indeed, but at least Friday was improved by the second half of Mighty Nein Reunited. It may have been long enough I wasn't able to finish it until my workday ended, but lots of good stuff in there. Kingsley being who he's turned out to be, Jester being awesome in multiple capacities, healing very much included, the sea battle Matt's been trying to do getting to be against Uka'toa, and, of course, the Shadowgast kiss actually happening at the end. I don't think that last one's even sunk in for me yet...and that's just what I can remember right now.
