missizzyIt has been an exhausting week for multiple reasons; I am really glad to have tomorrow off. Mom and I are even talking about going to see a movie this weekend. I'll probably wait at least two weeks on Black Panther, though. I still do not want to sit in a place as packed as those theaters are going to be.
My sister apparently needs my clothing size to order my Christmas present. I don't really know my clothing sizes beyond probably medium; I'm hoping that'll be enough. I still have no idea what I'm going to get anyone for Christmas myself, though I suspect my mother, at least, will request something sooner or later.
I have half an hour left on the audiobook of The Nine Eyes of Lucien, and I am generally impressed with it. Writing from the point of view of such a villain isn't easy, but Roux really built him up as his own character, finding where she could make his actions make complete sense from his point of view, and even told story in what he failed to observe or realize. (One thing he overlooks in the tarot card scene is especially telling.) Robbie remains an excellent reader, and the rest of the cast fit their voices right in, though when Ashley's and Taliesin's voices kicked in for the first time, it hit hard. I actually haven't bought the print version, though I might at some point.
