missizzyI am currently listening to a Lost 80s station, and they're playing "Running Up That Hill." Really, I'm pretty sure if that hit might have once gone obscure, it certainly isn't anymore! I've even heard it played on currents hits stations, and apparently it's been charting; music billboards definitely don't follow the rules they did back when I was a teenager and listened to the countdowns each week.
I might even record myself singing it. I've been working on Anna Nalick's "Breathe," which is so persistently at the low end of my vocal range it's going to require some stamina to sound good, and I may do it after that one.
I've got a date tomorrow. I can't remember my last in-person date; I think it was ages before the pandemic even began. I'm not sure I even want the hassle anymore, except I don't see any other alternatives to being forever single, which I'm not ready to be yet.
