Today, my great consolation was the new telescope's first image. Perhaps the thing that makes it really hit as the galaxy near the center right, where you can actually see its spiral arms. So tiny in this image, that's such a tiny part of the sky, and being whipped around with the others like they were specs in a whirlwind, and yet we know how large it is. And there are just so *many* of them.
