It's a little strange, watching The Legend of Vox Machina in the wee hours and on the bike machine Friday morning. It's not the first time I've watched an adaptation of something I've been attached to. But I honestly can't remember ever getting this worked up over seeing these characters, these moments in the story, and also the reactions of everyone else who loves this series as much as I do. And watching the rest of the world pay way more attention to it than they generally have is definitely new. My only complaint right now is that I want the rest already.
Our D&D group also met again this week; our hosts did indeed have Covid, but they've both recovered fine. We had what was definitely one of the scarier of our sessions, though I expect things to get scarier next week, when we're very likely to try to use the very scary deadly magic staff to kill the pair of liches who two of the group may have accidentally signed their souls away to.
One of the members of the group who lives and works up in Maryland also mentioned his office is hoping to bring him back on the premises in February. But they're only a lower HP Con than we are, and I suspect I'm going to be home for longer. Though I can't say I mind so much when it's *this* cold out!
