missizzyI dreamed last night of wanting to go to the DC zoo again. I went once nine years back with the guy I was dating at the time, and generally thought maybe I'd go back someday. Still wanted to when I woke up this morning, but it isn't the weather for it anymore. Maybe when we next have a warm weekend.
Instead, tomorrow, when it's slightly warmer out than today, I'll instead head out to start my Christmas shopping, since mom has now made a request for cheap gold chains, if I can find them. She's been struggling to, but I think I might be able to manage it. A quick search makes it seem not impossible, though, as one perhaps might expect, most of the cheap gold chains sold these days are meant for men to wear. Maybe if I can find one she could get away with? While I'm at it, I might even buy one for myself.
