Sunday I saw the Harry/Draco lark I wrote back in 2000 on an alphabetically sorted list of the most popular 25 Drarry fics between 2000-2004, although how this judgement was made I have absolutely no idea. (At first I thought it was by AO3 hits, but it's much further down that list.) It's one that definitely has been popular, especially during the heyday of the series, but it honestly feels kind of ridiculous when it's never been my best writing, and it especially isn't now that I've since had twenty-one years to get better at writing. I'm not at Arthur Conan Doyle levels of aggravated over it, but still.
For my more current interests, I am now well into the back half of episode 24 of The Mighty Nein, which now carries a bittersweet feel. I have been anxiously awaiting Lucien's death since about the time he first talked to the Nein and revealed himself to be such a bastard, but now I'm wondering if it's going to be his or Molly's I first watch in full, although I've seen clips of the latter, and watching them both around the same time may feel weird. If it doesn't take the Nein another ten episodes to finally catch up with him and be in position to actually do something.
