missizzyThe side effects were pretty similar this time around, but stronger. I've been on painkillers since Friday, and it's only now that my arm's not throbbing anymore-mostly. I was also low-energy enough yesterday that just getting the groceries left me feeling a bit done for. And my throat went sore last night and still is a little, but that might just be my sinuses. Given some of the stories I've seen online, I'm pretty sure I've gotten off easy.
Watched the Kentucky Derby yesterday; mom and I have watched it most years since dad's death ended our excursions to live races. It was rather distressing, though, to see the sheer number of people there unmasked! The number of owners and trainers that weren't last year was bad enough, but at least then there wasn't a crowd too. It was some exciting races, though.
