missizzyI've done it. I answered a Discord invite and applied to participate in a a short-term online D&D campaign. A Wildemount-based one, so at least I'll know a little more going in. Also one running on Pacific time, so I might be playing in the wee hours of Sunday morning, starting next weekend. If I get accepted. I've no idea many people applied, and she didn't specify how many players she wanted.
I've also now entered myself into Virginia's system for potential vaccination. My mom actually got our medical provider to vaccinate her just in time; they then stopped receiving supplies, and are now slowing down big time. Also requiring everyone to register before they contact us, and I can't yet, because Virginia actually still isn't vaccinating anyone below 65 right now. Meanwhile, the head of the WHS is now saying the Pentagon's general population probably won't be eligible for shots there before May, then claimed they hope to have everyone done by June. One month for the lot of us honestly sounds a little too ambitious, though I suppose having a one-dose vaccine available helps. No dates for when we'd return to full operations after that, and I suspect we'll all still get the shots long before we can fully benefit from them anyway, so...
