Parents have been using my grandmother's money to have our bathrooms redone. Back bathroom adjoining the master bedroom has been done, and now they're doing the front one, which makes mornings inconvenient when I have to shower and my parents aren't awake yet. The new tiles are down and the new bathtub put in, but it may be a while yet before it's done. Meanwhile, the workers have for some reason removed the bathroom door and left it leaning against the mirror, covering the light switch. Well, I usually just use the lamp these days anyway.
Cats are horribly traumatized by all this, of course. At first we tried shutting them up in my room when the workers are here, but now we're letting them go about freely, since they usually go hide in one of the bedrooms anyway.
Kitchen's next. Not looking forward to who knows how long of microwaved food, especially with my stomach already having more complaints than usual lately.
