I have a few thoughts.
We might have called Liam Shakespearean, with his footlights and his tragedy. But Brian has told the truly Shakespearean tale, with its treacherous feuding family, its crossdressing female character, and all its dirty humor. All that was missing was a tempest to wreck the pair of ships! More seriously, he did demonstrate why a story that isn't completely impossible works better for this game, because it makes where it ends up going much more interesting.
Also, we might have gone after Sam and Laura for going and changing the stories around. But someone needs to call Travis out for it too. It was really him who first changed around the ending of Sam's story, and the change he made to basic premise of the song ended up setting up its trajectory for the rest of the chain. Then he went and really screwed with Talisien's story with his moving the origins of the voice from the kenku to the Archeart in the cart. And now he goes and makes the ending of Brian's story all Titus Andronicus!
