I had kind of been hoping by this point my legs would stop hurting from pedaling that bike machine. No such luck, and I even got a sharp pain in my knee yesterday. But my back pains are more or less gone. Also, I'm nearly done with the eighth episode of Vox Machina, and now they're getting past the parts where they're trying to adapt to the stream and the rule changes and starting to let their creativity and emotional engagement come out in full force. Episode 7 especially had everything: dungeon-crawling, dramatic battling, a harebrained scheme, a dramatic finish with an accompanying cliffhanger, Lady Kima, Matt being a very good Grog, Keyleth taking multiple animal forms, Scanlan causing a guard to die of shame by chanting "You ugly!" at him, Scanlan nearly getting killed by a king, hitting him with a sword where Sam had to look up the damage details because he'd never used it, getting the HWDWTDT, and cutting his head off with a one-liner that only made sense in context, and I forget what else.
Attending the virtual depository library conference today. Usually I only do the in-person one, but I thought I'd better do this one. Some of the information I got was useful, but also, it was good to read and even hear the words of all the other librarians across the country in the same situation as us.
