Apr. 4th, 2020 01:02 pmDid have an hour on the bike machine this morning. My legs were aching five minutes in, but I made it an entire half hour. Long enough that I finally finished watching the first episode of Vox Machina while I was at it, and I think that may be where I finally watch the first campaign straight through. So far I've mainly observed that Laura Bailey is very good at establishing a character's presence and personality fast, she was the only one where I felt she'd done within the first hour I'd watched in both campaigns. Although her husband certainly did it for the first one, probably because he really was having too much fun playing Grog. Not everyone really made their presence known at first; this was a new thing for them, and they did have to adapt to it.
But the real thing to watch this morning was Duck Tales. I thought the first episode of the new season pretty good, and then they unleashed "Quack Pack" on us, which was kind of brilliant of them.
Then we had to go get the groceries, which felt like a real ordeal and my head's still throbbing even though I've taken painkillers. You really do get too used to staying at home.
