missizzySpent the past two days trying to draw a glass of water with ice in it. I initially tried to work from life, but the ice melted before I could draw it. That was not something the teacher warned us about beforehand, though I think it was partially that my room was really warm at the time. I've now reached the point where the thing I'm least looking forward to tonight is when our homework is shown to the class, because mine have typically been the weakest.
I may well get through the day with the thought that I should get home in time for Talks Machina, and I plan to watch that one live for the first time. I'm still not entirely clear on who this Artagan person is, but it's been kind of amusing to watch everyone who does know go from making ominous speculation that he has something dreadful in mind for poor Jester to chuckling at the silly fey who got in over his head when he let himself get deified. I'm very interested to see what's going to be said about him tonight.
