There is a small amount of snow on the ground outside; it's been there since I woke up. I'd thought it wasn't supposed to fall until later. Of course I'll be in today anyway, watching as much of Canadian Nationals as I can. We're headed into skating January madness now, and this year I have a new concern of when between next Thursday and the Thursday after I'm going to watch Critical Role! I'm mostly through this week's episode, which has felt like a very odd one, because I have no idea whether I want to trust Essek or not. Or whether or not I want Nott to choose to change back. On one hand, she was changed against her will in the worst way possible, and on principle, she should get to free herself from that and return to the family she sacrificed herself to save. On the other, she can't really go back to being who she was, and would she ever be content in her old life anymore? No wonder she needs to think about it. Of course, I suspect there's a strong chance something will happen within the next day to delay any changing back further...
ETA: And now I have watched the final half hour of the episode, and...well, I was right in thinking it wouldn't be that simple, wasn't I? Also, wow, feels.
Sometime during this extended weekend I must draw a lemon, an apple, and a potato. It's an interesting question which one will cause me the most trouble. Probably the potato.
