A Good Day to Everyone

missizzyAll those in position to today, enjoy a chance to rest for a little while from our wearying world. All those who aren't; well, hold tight, and hopefully the worst of it will be over soon.
I suspect I may enjoy tomorrow more than today, but having three days off, because the library has collectively decided to take the 26th off too, is very nice indeed. Between that and the time zones involved, I'll get to watch most of Russian Nationals live, though I'll have to go to bed early for it tonight. Not sure either how I'll feel about Ted Barton's commentary. He's good when commenting about the kids on the Junior Grand Prix, but Russian skating may leave him in over his head. Although at least he won't make sexist commentary about the ladies skaters, the way ESPN3's guy once did.
Last night mom and I went walking in Old Town, found a new book store that was closed, but we'll probably get back to at some point, and bought a couple of extra ornaments for the tree at a Christmas store, including a lovely glittering bird. We went before the trees lit up, but Old Town still looks very nice during the holidays.
