missizzyThursday night I got to watch Critical Role live for the first time, or at least the first half of the episode, where the final scene before the break was so heartbreaking it was just as well to be done for the night then. And I couldn't have kept watching after it anyway, because that was when the internet went out. Watching a bit more of it since, I've spotted one user in the chat room who also had Comcast go down and had to keep watching on their phone, so it seems there was a significant outage. At least it happened in the middle of the night this time. The chat room itself was kind of fascinating, although it goes so fast you have to read quick!
This morning, on the other hand, I ended up watching a little bit of the new Sesame Street-up until Big Bird showed up. His new voice threw me out of it, I'm afraid.
This is going to be an eventful weekend. Today my sister is coming over for our annual trip to the Kennedy Center together, and we'll be seeing Come From Away, which I've pretty much wanted to see since watching them perform at the Tonys. Tomorrow I've got my ticket for Star Wars, which I'm afraid I'm looking forward to a lot less at this point.
