Oct. 30th, 2024 09:04 amSince between one thing and another, I'd only been on site for one day the past two weeks, I decided to go into work on Monday and try to buy a ticket for Critical Role's NYCC liveshow on my phone. Then I forgot about it completely, and by the time I remembered, it was too late; the Beacon presale was sold out. So now I am taking this morning off instead, and in an hour's time will try to get one from the general sale. It did mean I also had time to finish writing the latest narrative interlude for my Baldur's Gate playthrough, where I have finally recruited Minsc (who is pure delight when he's not trying to insist on picking more dangerous fights), and also ended up battling Sarevok Anchev, which really got me thinking about the implications of an elf Tav old enough to have lived through the events of the first two games:
( It had been a much quieter evening than the previous one, the excitement of Minsc's joining of them quickly faded in the face of the day's events, and even more so what awaited them tomorrow. )
