(no subject)

Late on Wednesday my mother started feeling too much stiffness and started having trouble walking. When she called the advice nurse, she told her to go to the emergency room, worried she was having another stroke. When she got there and they looked at her, they initially told her she probably wasn't, and she definitely didn't have a full-blown one in the end. But we now think she might have had what they called a tia, where a stroke starts, but then stops quickly. She's still having more trouble with the leg, and we're not even sure that'll ever recover fully, now, but it could've been a lot worse.
She's also been sure to tell me how much some of her online friends loved my song from last weekend. I'm not sure how much of that was me and how much was that it really is a beautiful song, though.
