Dec. 5th, 2021 12:24 pmIt was largely a week of pain. My arm stayed sore until Wednesday, by which time my other shoulderblade was hurting up a storm, and that's still in pain. And that's leaving out other painful difficulties this week.
Really, that booster shot had better do *something* against the Omicron variant. We are the majority of us enduring way too much at its hands for it not to.
But for more comforting things, it was also a week where I was able to go around with the voices of Robbie, Liam, and Laura filling my ears. I knew I wanted the audiobook as soon as I heard the latter two were voicing their characters, though I've got the print on hand as well. And it turns out the audiobook of Kith & Kin is very much a come for the twins, stay for Robbie affair. Apparently he's done a lot of audiobooks, and he's *really* good at them. All warm smoothness, good voices, and rising the drama when it's time to. Thanks to a trip I took out to Tyson's Corner yesterday ( I'm now about halfway through... )
