Another big skating week
Feb. 8th, 2020 10:02 amI've more enjoyed watching Four Continents than not, though I accidentally slept through most of the ladies free last night, and I suspect I may nap through much of the men's free tonight as well. Though now that's one competition where I'll be watching to see who I get to see live next month. I'm still hoping it's Keegan Messing who gets the nod; I really do want to see that "November Rain" free live. I also watched the ice dance with a keen interest in which Australian team finished highest. I'm a little sad it's not the team with the Rocky Horror RD, but I'm looking forward Holly Harris & Jason Chan's Chorus Line program instead. Honestly, I'm a little more disappointed that Piper Gilles & Paul Poirier didn't win.
(Also very much wondering whether the Knierims will inflict themselves on Worlds, though I don't have tickets for either pairs segment anyway. I would not at all be displeased to see Jessica Calalang & Brian Johnson get in after all. Face it, they already deserve to.)
I got to watch the tail end of Russian Junior Nationals as well. Kind of sad Elizaveta Khudaiberdieva & Andrey Filatov didn't do a bit better. But wow, what are they going to do with that ladies result?
