Dec. 28th, 2017 10:00 pmDown in the 20s today, and not even many very good jokes on the #ItsSoCold hashtag. At least the bus and train both arrived very quickly this morning, and the bus was well on time on my way home this evening. Contemplating whether on Saturday or Monday to play hooky on watching Nationals and take a trip to Tyson's Corner to see how crazily they decorated it and spend my Barnes & Nobles gift certificate in person, and will probably go with Saturday because right now, at least, it's predicted to reach the high thirties. Monday will be another 20s one!
Meanwhile, have been spending the very large iTunes gift certificate from my brother-in-law. Songs purchased include at least one Madonna song I can't believe I didn't have already, the Enrique Iglesias hit that was on the charts when I was dating my high school boyfriend, and I secretly thought of as "our" song, "Sparring" from Daredevil's second season, a few current hits, a Eurovision entry that didn't make the final, and a few other songs besides that. So far I have resisted the temptation to see if they have the new Duck Tales theme.
