Nov. 12th, 2014 07:48 pmHeaded for New York City tomorrow, where my mom and I have tickets for what has now become the Met's final performance for The Death of Klinghoffer, which we will take the train home right after, so as not to pay higher Saturday night hotel fees. This meant I actually only worked two days this week, what with having yesterday off as well. Took advantage of that day to go and see Interstellar, which took my breath away for more than one reason; Chris Nolan has outdone himself.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. doing the same. For the past weeks, I've worried for Coulson, felt for Skye, cheered for May, been heartbroken for Fitzsimmons even while loving what's been done with them as characters, dug Triplett, giggled over Hungtingbird, and never known what to think about Ward. It gives me much hope for Agent Carter, especially if its creators learn from the mistakes made last year. I've currently got a Skimmons fic in progress that I may or may not finish within the next couple of weeks(I started a twisted Skyeward piece this morning, but now I don't think I'll continue it). Was also glad to watch the Caskett wedding Monday night.
Headaches thankfully now fading. Neck/shoulder aches, on the other hand...
