(no subject)

After much attempting to find a new video editing program that would do what I wanted, I finally decided to attempt another montage with Pinnacle VideoSpin, even if I'm a little wary it'll engage in the same antics that Movie Maker has rendered itself unusable by. A completely new montage; the one that failed to save wasn't very good anyway.
Went on a date yesterday with a guy a bit older than me but he was handsome and generally I liked him. We went to see the Freer and Sackler galleries, which we saw, got lost in, saw some more of, wandered out of, and then went back into only to discover we'd seen it all already, along with some African art, much of it modern(and impressive). Not sure when we'll go out next; he has family obligations next week and week after he's going to see a sight in Maryland a bit too far away from home for me to easily join him there. Today stayed in an watched the French Open; tomorrow I head off to see the new X-Men movie, which I've heard contradictory things about but if it's got Sirs Patrick and Ian in it I figure it can't be all bad...
