30 in two days

Last week on the train I happened to catch my reflection, and for the first time thought I don't look young anymore. It'll almost be a relief to finally officially be thirty on Thursday, if only because I've felt like it already for most of the year. Maybe even older. Before then, I felt like I was still in my early twenties, just starting my career and still letting my parents take care of me. Now, of course, they no longer can, and I've been working two and a half years.
And by the end of this week, the library may begin the weeding DoD downsizing is requiring us to do, where I will apparently have to be involved in the decision-making of what we keep and what we don't, something that still makes me deeply anxious. Also by getting myself involved with taxonomies for legal and legislative terms, both by apparently understanding what we're doing slightly better than the other two people involved(not that this is saying much) and knowing Latin and legal terms, I may be the "lead" on that too. I've impressed them at the library so far, but I haven't had to make decisions like that...
It was a long week even before the cliffhanger Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. left us on. I think if I hear about any further large file transfers in the near future, I may both giggle and tense up both.
