To sum up the Grand Prix

missizzyMen: It's getting harder for me to enjoy watching Yuzuru Hanyu, thanks to how badly his fans are misbehaving. And when otherwise it would be good to see him seemingly recovered. Though the comeback you've got to be happiest about in Han Yan's. Winning the staredown to get the Chinese officials to let him back in would've been great enough, but then stealing the show at his home event was even better. I'm also happy for Dmtri Aliev's success (if less so for Alexander Samarin's.)
Ladies: What is there to say? There is some comfort in seeing Evgenia Medvedeva recover and win another medal on Russian ice, but how much longer can she, or any other Russian lady older than 16 or so, hold on?
Pairs: And now that Tarasova & Morozov didn't even make the final, the changing of the guard there may be complete come Russian Nationals. And when you see that three younger Russian teams all did, you wonder if they'll even make it to Europeans/Worlds this year.
Ice dance: Do Sinitsina & Katsalapov really have to keep being second only to the French overlords? It's really annoying of them.
