missizzyNot really succeeding in not spending much time outside during my commute these past couple of mornings; the bus has taken time to arrive. At least one of my fellow librarians came in today wearing her snow boots, simply for the warmth, even though DC seems to currently be in its usual snow hole. It may even be part of the reason only three of us were even at work today.
I fear such a thing would only get worse if the city goes forward with their plan to eliminate my bus! The second city hall meeting about it was tonight, and mom went, because I wasn't really up to rushing down there after work. Though she ultimately wrote down her comments and left them with somebody else to be read out loud, because apparently it turned into a long meeting, with a lot of objections to our bus being taken away. Who knows, maybe they won't do it.
