This morning I sat down and tried to write out the qualification situation for the Grand Prix Final for the men. I gave up; it drove me so crazy. It is just too impossible to tell where any of them will finish in Russia next week. I suppose Cup of China could've actually been a lot messier. It certainly has been in the past. But much of the week left me cold and underwhelmed, and I'm not sure it was just the sleep deprivation. Of course, there were quite a few skaters present that I can never fully support, including both the top two ice dance teams. I was made happy by Han Yan's success, though.
