Critical Role!

missizzyI have now watched through episode 45 of The Mighty Nein, plus the first hour of episode 46, and a bit of one of the Critical Role one-shots involving racecar-driving raccoons. Honestly, I love this show. It has a character making herself invisible using one of her eyelashes and a bubble gum. It has the DM telling one of the players she's going at the same time as the cabinet, then stopping to appreciate that this sentence gets to exist. It has adventurers debating how long they need to be missing before their companions hold a funeral. It has two characters arriving late to the fight to find a dragon and a fire elemental flying around, most of their companions invisible and/or on fire, and one of them runs out of the wall and just yells, "We're running; it's bad!"
I'm not sure how to get into the fandom, though, when it's still going to take me a long time to catch up. I don't even know if you don't have to pay to see the episodes when they first air. At this point I'm just trying to get far enough in to figure out why everyone's shipping Caleb and Jester, because that seems to be a pretty big thing from what I've seen so far.
