My keys have gone missing, and with them my flash drive and library card. When I was younger, I would sometimes lose keys, something my mother has also been in the habit of doing in the past, but since high school the only other time was when they fell out of a hole in my bag. That time the woman was nice enough to look on the flash drive, get my contact information, and bring them back. This time I've got no idea how it happened, and much doubt I'll get them back. It's even possible the cats ran off with them and hid them in a place we'll certainly never find.
The flash drive really is the biggest loss, though I haven't used it in a long time. We'll get another today, but the files are gone, and I'm not even sure how many of them were unique.
