Aug. 3rd, 2019 07:31 pmJust got back from my week in Boston. I finally got to do all the stuff it wasn't warm enough and there wasn't time enough to do during my previous trips, such as go on boat rides, take an extended tour of the city, sit on the edge of the Long Wharf and take in the view, and spend more time on the Common and ride a swan boat. Though the first two days it was too hot instead, which was when I first sought refuge in the aquarium, where they had everything from tiny fish and frogs to penguins and seals in special tanks, to jellyfish and an octopus, to even a couple of hammerhead sharks in the huge multi-floor coral tank they had in the middle. The second day I went to the Museum of Fine Art, where I saw an impressive exhibit on Toulouse-Latrec. Other things I saw include the U.S.S. Constitution and a humpback whale.
It's a city I do love, though I don't know when I'll go back. Definitely if they hold another major skating competition there; perhaps they might do Skate America one of these years.
