missizzyI'm afraid my birthday surprise turned out to be an unpleasant one: the news that my bank is shutting down all the ATM cards, and apparently expects us to use out debit cards and go cashless. I'm not even sure where my debit card is, or if everything I use money for is doable with only cards. I may have to make my current supply last as long as possible.
Thankfully, when we went out for my birthday dinner last night, my sister gave me a couple of things she'd picked up at Star Wars Celebration. Now I have a new shirt with the female characters of Star Wars as constellations, which I love. Also an Ashoka funko pop. I have never had a funko pop. I'm not even sure what you're supposed to do with a funko pop. Right now she's just looking nice on my desk. We were home in time for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., which I am still processing, but it may well be the less stressful Marvel show I watch this summer. After such a harrowing episode of Cloak and Dagger Thursday night, I'm honestly relieved that next episode looks like it'll merely be an affair of the Darkforce dimension.
I'm not sure whether I want to see Detective Pikachu. My sister had seen it already, but her take on it left me still uncertain. Might depend on how long we take grocery shopping today.
