missizzyToday around the time Nicole Della Monica & Matteo Guarise were melting down I tweeted that you can take the Grand Prix event out of China but you can't take the #cupofdisaster out of the Grand Prix event and felt very proud of myself. Then I clicked on the hashtag, and saw two different people had beaten me to it. That was an obvious one to make, I suppose. Poor Finland. Finally get their Grand Prix event, and it proves largely a disappointment.
It was a busy day today all together, between that, having to get groceries immediately, and going to the fall dance my autistic social group usually has around now. We had our normal DJ and he generally had a good selection of songs. I even danced with one boy, but that might have actually been a mistake, because he was an over-exuberant one who left me so exhausted it was a song and a half before I could stand up again. Tomorrow, though, nothing to do but prepare skating highlights and maybe finish and the post my next ficlet. I was planning to record my next song, but it's not quite ready and my sinuses aren't really cooperating either this weekend.
I should be more scared about the election. But at the moment, I'm too worn down.
