Among the things that happened last week was I took the new required Records Management Training. Along with the Anti-Terrorism Refresher we're required to take every year that I'm pretty sure hasn't been updated since 2011. (Certainly not be this administration; it talks way too much about the white terorrists for that.) But when I was doing the former, I was all too aware that we might all be taking this because the President is currently ripping records up. We had to learn the legal penalties for that, of course, which he will never face. Nobody's ever making him take any records management training.
We lost power earlier today. Went off early in the afternoon, apparently, after some sort of car collision. When I got off the bus, down the street there were multiple cranes and trucks working on the wires. Someone had said the power was supposed to be back by six. When I wasn't, mom and I went out to dinner, and thankfully it was back when we got home a couple of hours later. So tomorrow I will be able to hide in the air conditioning and watch Wimbledon. So far, my live tuning into it has consisted of waiting for the app audio/video coverage in the morning to actually go to the tennis, watching Raonic and Nadal on a fuzzy treadmill screen in the gym, and listening to Radwandska win and Sharapova lose on the radio on the way home. The last part's pretty much been the most fun.
