daredevilkink prompt this morning that caused a fic already bouncing about in my head to coalesce, and this evening I gave in and started writing it. Only it's probably going to be at least a little lengthy...
Apparently all the rain caused traffic problems this morning. When I got in to the library, the three people already there remarked upon another person actually making it in. Of course, I get there by bus and train, which sometimes provide their own headaches, but were working just fine today. Everybody also did make it in eventually, though there was definitely a horror story or two going around.
Even so, by noon I was already tired of the week. It didn't help that I started coughing again during the afternoon, and when I had very little during the morning. It does finally seem to be lessening, but not quite gone yet. If I avoid scaring off my probable date Saturday night, I shall be satisfied.
