missizzyThings I have done in the past two and a half weeks:
Watched and blogged about the Olympics. I enjoyed more of it than not, and am especially happy that now everyone has gotten the chance to appreciate Adam Rippon and the Shibutanis. Even if there was an awkward moment when mom came in and asked me what a glamazon bitch was. It'll take me a while to get over the ladies result, though. Why couldn't they have inflated Zagitova's presentation scores just a little less?
First got the battery on my iPhone 6 replaced by actually going to the store with it when they wouldn't email me, then getting the phone itself upgraded anyway a week later. Still trying to figure out why tapping the home button sometimes gets it to do what I want, sometimes loads up Siri, and sometimes does nothing. But having 64GB is great.
While I was waiting for the battery replacement to be done, going skating, taking a bad fall, and spending the rest of the week with my knees in pain. It's only now the pain's really going away.
Saw Black Panther, enjoyed the hell out of it. I especially loved Shuri.
Went with my mom to get our taxes done by AARP this evening. We were both missing documentation, though, so we'll have to go back Thursday, so hers can be finished, and mine can be officially filed (social security number documentation isn't as easy a thing as it used to be.)
Started exploring the world of online cloths shopping. I need more middle-weather clothes for Milan, and so far I ordered a shirt from the same site I got my new phone case off of. Also looked at the Hot Topic website. I may track down one of their actual stores this week.
Pretty close to setting up a date with a new guy on Sunday!
